Ingredients
  • 100 g lean ground beef
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 carrot (medium-sized)
  • 1 potato (medium-sized)
  • 1 tbsp rice
  • 1-2 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 pinch dried mint
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 500 ml water
Instructions
  1. Finely chop the onion.

  2. Cut carrots into half-moons and dice the potatoes.

  3. Rinse and drain the rice.

  4. Finely chop the parsley.

  5. Mix ground beef with onion, rice, parsley, olive oil, and a pinch of cumin. Form small meatballs, coat them with flour, and set aside.

  6. In a pot of boiling water, add carrots first, then potatoes. Cook covered over low heat for 15 minutes.

  7. Add the meatballs and cook for an additional 15 minutes over low heat.

  8. Once cooked, sprinkle dried mint on top.

  9. Mash the meatballs, carrots, and potatoes with a fork before feeding your baby.
