Ingredients
    For the Meaty Dry Beans
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 medium-sized green paper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 50 g lean stew meat (beef or lamb)
  • 2 tsp beans
  • 50 ml water
  • Caciki ( Tzatziki)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 dried mint
  • 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
    Meaty Dry Beans
  1. Slice the green pepper into rings.

     
  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic.

     
  3. Sauté peppers in olive oil for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add meat and paste, sauté for a few more minutes. 

     
  5. Add half of the water to the meat, and simmer for 20-25 minutes on low heat.

  6. Then add the dry beans and the remaining water.

  7. Simmer for a while on low heat.

  8. Caciki ( Tzatziki)
  9. Grate the cucumber. 

     
  10. Whisk yogurt separately until it reaches a thick buttermilk consistency.

     
  11. Add the grated cucumber.

     
  12. You can also add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and dried mint on top.
